Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

MyAutos (“MyAutos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the MyAutos website, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices available to you, and the steps we take to protect it. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three general categories: information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information we obtain from third-party sources in order to operate the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

1.3 Vehicle Listing Data

To power the core functionality of the Service, MyAutos aggregates publicly viewable vehicle listing information (such as listing titles, descriptions, prices, photos, mileage, and general location) matching the searches you configure. This listing data originates from publicly accessible third-party marketplace platforms and does not include private account information belonging to the individuals or dealers who posted those listings. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party marketplace platform referenced within the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the Service you have requested; (b) legitimate interests, such as securing our Service and improving its functionality, provided those interests are not overridden by your data protection rights; (c) compliance with a legal obligation; and (d) your consent, where applicable, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. Session cookies are used to maintain your authenticated session and expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some parts of the Service may not function properly without cookies.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes such as maintaining accurate business and financial records. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

7. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit, and the use of reputable third-party infrastructure providers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) request access to the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate information; (c) request deletion of your information; (d) object to or restrict certain processing; (e) request a copy of your information in a portable format; and (f) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 17. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support, which will remove your saved searches and account credentials from our active systems, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 6.

9. Additional Disclosures for California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), grants you specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. MyAutos does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To submit a request, contact us using the details in Section 17. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

10. Additional Disclosures for EEA, UK, and Swiss Residents

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the rights described in Section 8 above under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or the UK GDPR, as applicable, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. Where we transfer personal information outside of your region, we do so using appropriate safeguards as described in Section 13.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not yet an accepted industry standard for how to respond to such signals, the Service does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by individuals who are at least 18 years old and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 17.

13. International Data Transfers

MyAutos is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country that may have data protection laws different from those of your home jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.

The Service may reference or link to third-party websites, platforms, or listing sources that are not owned or controlled by MyAutos, including the marketplace platforms from which listing data is sourced and our payment processor, Stripe. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites or services, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of any third-party site or service.

15. Disclaimer; No Warranty

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL VEHICLE LISTING DATA, PRICING INFORMATION, AND ANALYTICS DISPLAYED WITHIN IT, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. MYAUTOS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR AVAILABILITY OF ANY THIRD-PARTY LISTING DATA. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYAUTOS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THIS PRIVACY POLICY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS SECTION IS SUBJECT TO, AND SHOULD BE READ TOGETHER WITH, THE DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SET FORTH IN OUR TERMS OF SERVICE.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a notification within the Service or by email). Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
